Daily Briefing from Rome

9-12 Mar 08 – Instrumentum Laboris

The Chapter Sisters are entering a heavy time as the program of these last days. As you have seen in the general schedule, these last days they must delve into:

  • the Working Paper (9-12 March)
  • the Directory and the Ordinance of the Institute and the Resolutions (13-16 March)
It would be difficult to keep you updated on the daily progress, however we feel a need to share with you:

Dearest Sisters,

Thank you for your constant attention to the work of the Chapter and for the messages of encouragement you gave us. We feel close to you.

During this time, the material before us requires us to deepen our thinking. We don’t want to keep you waiting as it is quite impossible to meet your desire of having daily news, because as we proceed, the light we need and steps we have to make are gradually lining up.

Surely all will be disseminated to you later in your Province, so that it will be possible for us to be renewed together ‘for the sake of Christ, according to Magdalene’. For now we do share with you the letter of introduction to the “laboris” to use as a reflection in your prayer which is so important at this time. Thanks once again for your prayer and ever more constant intercession to the Spirit so that He may guide us to where the Lord wants us to be.
